Horse flu fact sheet aims to stop spread

The New South Wales Department or Primary Industries has published a new fact sheet to educate horse owners on stopping the spread of horse flu.
"During the recovery phase from EI and beyond, biosecurity measures remain important for the ongoing prevention of all infectious disease in horses," said Sarah Robinson, Regional Animal Health Leader and State Equine Health Coordinator, Animal and Plant Biosecurity, Wagga Wagga.
The fact sheet covers the arrival of new horses, protection while at events, visiting horse properties, preventing the spread of disease.
