A cross-country preview evening of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials with Yogi Breisner, Harry Meade, Ian Stark and Zara Tindall (nee Phillips) is on offer early next month.

Hosted by the Horse Trials Support Group in its marquee and supported by Dodson & Horrell in aid of Badminton’s 2016 Charity of the Year World Horse Welfare, the evening on Friday, May 6 promises to be an unmissable occasion for eventing fans and enthusiasts, with tickets now on sale.

The speakers will give their thoughts on the 2016 cross country course designed by Giuseppe Della Chiesa, with a chance for questions from the audience compered by Alice Fox-Pitt. There will also be a raffle to raise money for World Horse Welfare.

“This prestigious evening is shaping up to be another wonderful way to celebrate World Horse Welfare being this year’s chosen charity for the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials,” said World Horse Welfare Chief Executive Roly Owers.

“We are very grateful to Dodson & Horrell for supporting the evening and to the Horse Trials Support Group for their generosity in hosting this event on our behalf, as well as to the panellists and compere for their involvement. I’d urge all eventing fans to get their tickets booked as soon as possible.”

Horse Trials Support Group chairwoman Rosemary Barlow said: “The expert panel will, no doubt, give us an in depth view of the cross country course and we hope that the evening will raise valuable funds for the official charity at Badminton this year. ”

Dodson & Horrell CEO, Sam Horrell, said: “We are proud to be involved with the cross country preview evening to support World Horse Welfare.  It will be great to hear the thoughts of the panel on Giuseppe Della Chiesa’s cross country course for this year’s event and look forward to a fantastic evening at the horse trials.”
