Video: Horse strikes up unlikely friendship with … a chicken

This horse has proved he’s no chicken, putting up with a chook clucking away about on his head.

The owner of the horse, Rocky, figured no-one would believe it so she captured this video of the unlikely friends. Maybe this guy didn’t have a cat, goat or a sheep to buddy up with.

Rocky takes the chicken’s posturing in his stride, even after the hen strolls down his neck and makes to exit, before changing her mind about dismounting and clambers back up on to his rump.

We can guarantee there’s no wasted grain in this barn!
