Technology is here to help riders in the 2015 Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots event at Badminton, with an app being provided for competitors, officials, and spectators.
The Grassroots competition takes place before the international competition at Badminton, and as official Partners for the Grassroots competition, CrossCountry App will provide maps for the programme, the Grassroots-dedicated website and for Officials and Volunteers.
Riders and spectators will be able to take a virtual guided course walk of the BE90 and BE100 cross country courses on smartphones, tablets and PCs. Those with Apple devices will have extra information and features at their fingertips with the CrossCountry App.
The 2015 maps will incorporate expert audio commentary from the World Class Performance Manager for the Eventing team, Yogi Breisner, to assist riders and enhance the spectator experience.
Badminton Event Director Hugh Thomas said the CrossCountry App was not only useful to competitors, but it has also meant that maps for officials and spectators have been standardised.
The 2015 course maps are available to download or view from the CrossCountry App website.
