London 2012 eventing course builder Adrian Ditcham has joined British Eventing as its Regional Coordinator for the South East.

His appointment takes effect on February 1. This new role was added to the existing team of five Regional Coordinators around the country to strengthen the support to BE Affiliated events in the South East, including Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey.

“I am currently involved with many BE events in various different roles and see a perfect synergy between them and my new position,” Ditcham said.

“I look forward to continuing  to improve our sport and the product we offer our members in the future. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of working with the current and potential new events in the South East Region.”

Although Ditcham is primarily a BE and FEI Technical Adviser as well as a Platinum level BE Course Builder, his CV boasts a wealth of experience around the sport ranging from being a competitor to being deeply involved in building and designing courses at all levels.

He has built courses for many years at Burghley  and was also responsible for project managing and building the course for Eventing at the London 2012 Olympic Games, plus building and designing courses at all levels.

Ditcham, who is based in Hampshire, also sits on the BE Cross Country Advisory Group and Safety Committee.
