Two Shire horses stolen in Wales

missing2Two giant Shire horses have been stolen in southeast Wales, and police have released images in the hopes it will lead to their recovery.

Gwent Police said the animals were taken from a field in Ty Mawr Lane, Marshfield, sometime between 10am on Saturday, July 27, and 7.30am on Monday, July 29.

One is a 3-year old purebreed Shire filly, grey with four white legs. She stands at 17 hands.

The second is a 7-year-old Shire-cross mare, brown with a black main and tail. She stands at 18.2 hands. Her freeze brand is No 8X3D.
