A man is to stand trail in Scotland for allegedly feeding sausage rolls to police horses, the BBC reports.

The 41-year-old, named as Francis Kelly, is charged with breach of the police over allegedly feeding the pastry and sausage-meat offerings to police horses in Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow, on September 26 this year.

Authorities allege he behaved in a “threatening or abusive manner” and “adopted an aggressive stance” towards officers when told to put food away.

Kelly has denied the charge.
