Fans of the Lancashire Constabulary’s police horses can now follow them on Facebook.
Constable Adam Pearson, of the mounted division, said: “Facebook presents a great opportunity for us to give members of the public an insight into the sort of work we do day-in-day-out to help keep Lancashire a safe place.
“The police horses get involved in policing a wide range of situations, from football to protests, parades, and specialist operations, and I’m sure people will be very interested to find out more about our work within the community.”
The mounted branch has 19 horses. Each horse has his own stable and is named after a Lancashire town.
