Extended helmet deal for Team Ireland eventers

British safety helmet manufacturer Champion Hats are to continue their support of eventing as official supplier of hats and helmets to Team Ireland Equestrian’s Eventing Teams.

The deal includes the Pony, Junior, Young Rider and Senior teams. Champion will provide riding helmets and hats to the riders in both the show jumping and cross-country phases.

Champion has been designing and manufacturing protective safety wear for horse riders for more than 30 years. Over this time, Champion has been a driving force of research and product development. All Champion products are subjected to the most rigorous testing procedures to ensure that every product produced is of the utmost quality.

“Horse Sport Ireland are delighted that Champion Hats have come on board again this year,” said Horse Sport Ireland Chief Executive Damian McDonald.

“We are particularly glad that Champion Hats are providing hats and helmets for all Team Ireland Equestrian’s eventing squads from ponies up to seniors.”
