Eventing’s grassroots champs to be rescueduled

British Eventing is looking to reschedule its Grassroots Championships to another venue following the cancellation of this weekend’s Badminton Horse Trials.

The championships were to have run alongside Badminton, but exceptional rainfall caused the venue to become totally waterlogged and partially flooded.

Sport Operations Manager Chris Farr said BE was looking at all available options.

“We understand how important the Grassroots Championship is for everyone involved particularly the riders who have been preparing for the Championships for many months. ”
