Damn this race! It makes me so angry that it’s the most famous yet the cruelest. When will we see an end to it. It’s not needed and the stats prove its cruel, that’s without even seeing what happens. The head of the BHA Paul Bittar says they will monitor the races over time. Anyone who spends time on racing knows there’s hardly any fixtures at aintree, and the last race meeting there was mainly hurdles. I want action taken against this race, why not call for a public vote and send the results to the house of commons. Forget the BHA, they have proven they don’t care.
