French rider killed during horse trials
Britain’s Horse and Hound magazine has reported the death of a French rider during a one-day event in Moulin-Coulandon, France, at the weekend.
Maia Boutanos, 29, was riding in a novice competition but was experienced at three-star level, according to the French Equestrian Federation. She was a secondary school teacher, the report said.
