One of the highest earning showjumpers of the past decade, the Hannoverian stallion Lux Z has been extremely well received since his arrival in Ireland.
Lux Z won over €1,000,000.00 during his time with Jos Lansink, Ben Schroder and Italian Jerry Smith.
By Lord Calando, a son of the Ladykiller stallion Lord, and out of the Ahorn Z mare Apocalypte Z, Lux Z was already producing winners just as he was embarking on a massive international campaign. As an 11-year-old in 1999, he already had several winning youngsters on the ground and was steered to victory in the Valkenswaard Grand Prix just as one of his sons was crowned FPP Champion.
World Ranked 10th and on the WBFSH list for his winnings throughout 1998 and 1999, Lux Z continued his success in 2000 with a fantastic win of the Pulsar Crown in Cannes and finished in the top 10 in the World Cup Final before representing Italy at the Olympic Games in Sydney later that season.
He is one of the few stallions to have gained approval throughout Germany, and is recognised by the KWPN, Zangersheide, Hannoverian, Holstein, Cannadian and Irish Horse Board studbooks.
Lux Z has Progeny making a name for themselves all over the world. As a sire of three stallion sons selected in this years Zwolle Stallion Show, Holland, he has joined the elite group of sires ever to achieve such a result in one single set of inspections. Hans Horn's Lupicor, a nine year old son of Lux Z, was the most popular choice for breeders in Holland.
