Landioso boasts one of the world's finest pedigrees for showjumping and dressage. He himself jumped successfully in Germany before embarking on a dressage career that has seen him winning Grand Prix competitions in Europe and New Zealand alike. He was NZ National Champion in 2006 and qualified for the World Equestrian Games that same year. Although he didn't attend WEG he was represented by his son L'Etoile for the Italian dressage team.

Landioso at age 20 is still fit and sound and competing at the highest level in the sport. Conformationally he is unfaultable and is a carbon copy of his sire Landgraf, who was for many years the world's top sire of showjumpers.

Landioso passes on both his superior jumping technique and dressage ability to his progeny. His eldest NZ youngstock are rising three-year-olds, but his progeny worldwide have gone a long way to proving his worth as a breeding sire. He is the sire of several licenced stallion sons and many premium level mares. His foals are able to be registered as NZ Holsteieners or NZ Warmbloods.

Landioso is 100 day tested and fully approved in Germany.
