Griffyndor is a purebred imported hanoverian stallion. Griffyndor's temperament is faultless both when being handled on the ground, and under saddle. International competitors and trainers Andrew McLean (AUS) and Hubertus Huffendiek (GER) have both commented on his talent and ridability under saddle. In jump training, he is showing a beautiful technique over the fences and an amazing aptitute for cross-country.

In limited outings, Griffyndor is a multi Supreme winner in hand. This includes winning Supreme Champion inhand horse at the 2006 New Zealand Royal Show. His progeny are also almost unbeaten.Recently a 2yo daughter won Supreme Warmblood Exhibit at the NZ Grand National Show. Griffyndor will commence his NZEF career in the 2007-08 season.

Griffyndor's pedigree boasts international dressage and jumping bloodlines. His sire, Gymnastik Star, is consistently producing horses that are winning national titles in both Australia and New Zealand, and his oldest progeny are only seven-year-olds. Griffyndor's dam-sire, Graf Landau, has been the third ranking showjumping sire in Australia.

Griffyndor is consistently stamping his progeny with his easy temperament, his incredible walk, and awesome rhythm. What more could you ask for in your young dressage star, show jumper, or eventer?
