Donnerwind is a stunningly beautiful, modern elegant riding horse type. He has competed up to Grand Prix level in dressage with many wins at Prix St Georges level in Germany with a young rider in the saddle. He is by Donnerschlag, himself a Grand Pix dressage stallion by Donnerhall. Donnerwind's dam Furinde is by Voltaire - so there is great jumping blood in the pedigree, too.
Donnerwind has three exceptional paces, with a world-beating canter and fantastic free shoulder movement in the trot.
As a foal Donnerwind won the gold medal at the foal approvals in Rhineland. He went on to be successful in Young Dressage Horse classes and was placed 3rd in the Bundeschampionat.
He is the sire of several licenced sons including Danny Wilde whose sale topped the Aachen auctions for $500,000. Like his sire, Danny Wilde was placed at the Bundeschampionat and also at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
His foals in Europe have proven their rideability time and time again and excel in both dressage and jumping disciplines.
Donnerwind is 100 day tested and fully approved in Germany.
