His illustrious career saw him take out many titles up to Advanced level. He won the NZ National PSG / Intermediare 1 title, and also was crowned Advanced Horse of the Year at his final competition. He traveled to Australia with some great successes including a third placing in the PSG at the Brisbane CDI-W. He retired fit and well at age 17 with nothing left to prove. Belmont Golden Boy has a fantastic temperament with a big heart and a generous nature. He has great paces that are often not seen in a stallion of his height. He has many progeny out competing in New Zealand and has had two sons competing at CCI 3* level eventing; Belmont Oh Boy and Kintyre who was sold to USA.
