Back to News Classification Day Report December 4, 2009 Appleton DHU Appleton DHU's sire Rousseau In conjunction with this year's AGM we held a classification day at Matamata; Tina Fagan of Starlight Farm, kindly offered her wonderful facilities for the day. Due to unforeseen circumstances only 2 of the 4 stallions booked were able to make it, one of which made the standards required to gain his licence. This is Appleton DHU, who was presented in top condition and a credit to his owners, Ane Visser and Nicole Bours. Appleton DHU, by Rousseau, and out of the Burggraaf mare, Michigan G, impressed with his calm outlook and jumping ability. He will be an asset to the NZWHA stallion list. Four mares were also put forward for inspection, also well presented and a credit to their owners.
