Gold Kanial is I mare I had seen and liked at Holly Farm Arabian Stud. With those fabulous Crabbet lines from her sire, Jabal, and a temperament to match, I was very pleased when David Marshall agreed to lease her to me.

I was lucky enough for Kanial to present me with a delightful filly foal first time off, and she very quickly became the visitors' favourite.

Ellie is a cheeky wee miss who loves to be the center of attention, and because she is so pretty that's not difficult for her to achieve.

She has inherited her grandsire's lovely temperament and is often seen flying the flag for Arabians at children's farmyard days or pet expos, lapping up the pats and carrots.

Ellie has had one foal so far, a very nice colt by Colorado, who is the spitting image (movement and all) of his sire. As a foal at his first show, Shiraj was placed Reserve Champion colt at the 2004 CAHC All Arabian Show. This is such a successful cross that I will be repeating it in the future.
