Rhiannon's first foal was a while coming. With her damaged leg I was a bit scared to put her in foal in case she couldn't cope with it, but as it turned out, she was fine. Rosewood Ardashir was a big beautiful foal (by Arabian Park Tycoon) who has grown into a big beautiful gelding. Owned by Jenny Rouse, he would be nearly 15.2hh as a four year old, and still hasn't finished growing. Jenny bought him to endurance, and this season will do trail rides on him to get him used to going out.
This season Rhiannon presented me with a filly, a beautiful elegant version of herself. Ashira is similar to Ardashir, although I would expect her to mature around 15hh, with the same fabulous ground covering movement, self carriage and attitude plus. Ashira will be shown this coming season. |
