I bought Khali Malek in 1987, thus beginning my introduction to arabians. Together we competed at shows (ridden and led), at trail rides, hunter trials and dressage competitions. It was rare for us to not come home with a prize. Khali Malek passed his abilities under saddle onto all his babies. I owned Malek for 12 years, and he is now a sire in Southland.
