Chante has been a star right from the word go. As a yearling she won South Island Champion Partbred/Anglo youngstock title, and since then has amassed more than 20 Championships in both Led and Ridden classes under national and international judges. These include South Island Supreme Champion Led Partbred/Anglo, National Reserve Champion Led Partbred/Anglo and National Top Five Champion Ridden Partbred/Anglo. She has been described as the ideal type for an Anglo-arabian.

Chante is also a successful distance horse. She was in the top five at the South Island Trail Riding Championships when she was only four, and she is an open endurance horse. With her Sir Tristram blood she is the #1 boss horse around here, and she just loves to race (and win!). She had a foal the year I had Danielle, (I figured if I was to go through this again, so could she), and Spellbound, by Tycoon, is a tough little chip off her mother's block. Chante's next baby, foaled 2003 is by the Arabian Warmblood stallion Kazmere Armani. A very pretty chestnut filly, Rossmoors Satisfaction was bred by Rachel Rennie when she leased Chante for a season. At her first show, the 2004 National Arabian Show, Satisfaction was sashed Champion Partbred Anglo filly. Satisfaction is a beautifully balanced filly with lovely movement.
