Athene was my foundation mare. Bred by Helen Bray of Sherwood Rise Arabian Stud, I was very lucky when Helen offered me the lease on this beautiful mare. A few years later Helen offered to sell her to me, and I jumped at the chance to own her outright. Athene bred some beautiful foals for me, and I have kept two of her daughters, Rosewood Rhiannon, and Rosewood Vedema.
