Fox-Pitt, who added a sixth Burghley Horse Trials win in September to his long list of eventing successes, joins eventing team medalist Jeanette Brakewell, and top international show jumper Tim Stockdale, as a Spillers rider.

Spillers has also renewed its sponsorship of the up-and-coming event rider Flora Harris for the second year and will be supporting the number one Scottish show jumper, Scott Brash in 2012.

The company has a long history of support for equestrian events across the levels, from its sponsorship of the Trailblazers Championships to its ongoing sponsorship of British Dressage.

In addition, Spillers is supporting the racing sector with the sponsorship of acclaimed trainer Andrew Balding and newly licensed National Hunt trainer Polly Gundry.

"Our feeds help to maintain the health and performance of thousands of horses in the UK from family ponies to winning racehorses," said Spillers Marketing Manager Sarah Kitson.

"We are especially delighted to welcome William to our team and feel privileged to support such talented riders and trainers this year. We wish them all a successful season, in what is a very important year for equestrian sport."

Spillers has a collection of more than 30 feeds to suit every type of horse or pony, including an assortment of complementary fibres and balancers, low energy mixes and cubes, competition and conditioning feeds and specialist breeding and racing products.
