Australian national champion Rachael Sanna won the FEI Pacific League Dressage World Cup final on Jaybee Alabaster yesterday, and will go on to the world final next year.
Sanna and Jaybee Alabaster won with a score of 75.125%, with Heath Ryan on Regardez Moi second on 71.525% at the final during the 2011 Saddleworld Dressage Festival in Werribee.
Athens Olympian Louisa Hill finished third aboard her relatively inexperienced 10-year-old horse Bates Antonello. The combination scored an impressive 70.375% in the grand prix freestyle class.
The judges for the competition were (B) Alison King (HK), (C) Katrina Wuest (GER), (E) Mary Seefried (AUS), (H) Helen Hughes-Keen (NZ), and (M) Susie Hoevenaars (AUS).
Horrendous weather saw the para-dressage Paralympic team qualification postponed until later on Sunday.
