WEG ticket sales top 300,000

August 29, 2010

Ticket sales for the 2010 World Equestrian Games are around 315,000, with organisers eyeing a target of 500,000.

Organisers had originally hoped to sell 600,000 tickets for the event, which runs from September 25 to October 10.

Dressage freestyle and individual reining have almost sold out.

There are fewer than 150 tickets left in the 7000-seat indoor arena for the individual reining finals.

Fifty-eight countries have entered the Alltech-sponsored games, competing across eight disciplines.
