Entries in for World Equestrian Games

August 19, 2010

Entries from 58 countries have been officially received for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, but only four nations will field a team in every discipline.

Australia, Canada, Germany and the United States will field teams for dressage, jumping, eventing, reining, driving, para-equestrian, vaulting and endurance. Some 19 nations have submitted teams or individual competitors five or more disciplines.

Nominated entries are submitted pending verification and approval of horse and rider qualifications.

The nominated entries list includes more than 900 athletes and more than 1300 horses. This list will decrease when definite entries for each discipline are submitted to the World Games 2010 Foundation in the middle of next month.

The Games start in 37 days.
