Dogs attack pony in stable

March 17, 2010

Police in Britain are investigating the possibility that two dogs were deliberately placed with a pony in a stable, where they gave it a mauling.

Derbyshire police are investigating the incident, which occurred at Heanor on Friday night.

The 12-year-old pony, named Bramble, suffered serious injuries, including losing part of its lips and nostrils. She has other injuries to her legs, shoulder and face.

Police have spoken to the owners of the dogs and inquiries are continuing.
