Police probe horse hit-and-run accident

February 9, 2010

Police in southern Wales are investigating a hit-and-run accident in which a local marsh pony died.

The horse was badly injured in the accident, which happened around 11pm at Swansea, on Gowerton Road.

Police have examined the car debris left in the wake of the crash and said they believed the vehicle had been badly damaged.

They believe the car had dark green metallic paint and may have been a Hyundai.

Anyone with information should contact the police in Swansea on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
