First foal for US Horse of Year Curlin

January 16, 2010

A thoroughbred filly born on Tuesday at Burleson Farms near Midway, Kentucky, is the first foal by two-time US Horse of the Year Curlin.

The foal is out of Zophie.

Curlin won $US10.5 million in his racing career, and stands at Lane's End Farm in Kentucky.
