A huge barn fire at a harness racetrack in Ohio has killed two people and up to 80 horses.
Efforts are still being made to determine the number of horses that died in the blaze, but estimates range from 40 to 80.
The barn was at Lebanon Raceway, understood to be part of the Warren County fairgrounds.
The blaze was reported at 4.50am on Saturday and the building was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The victims have yet to be named.
State fire investigators are probing the fire, the cause of which is still to be determiend.
Eleven fire departments turned out to fight the blaze, which they prevented from spreading to other barns.
One local report said two horse workers remained unaccounted for in the wake of the fire.
