Donkey attack hospitalises man

November 21, 2009

A donkey attack in Augusta, Georgia, has put a man in hospital with severe bites, it has been reported.

The donkey named Spike is now in the care of Augusta Animal Services and local media report the owner has been charged over having livestock at large.

The online edition of The Augusta Chronicle reported that the donkey would be held pending the outcome of a hearing early next year.

The donkey is believed to be responsible for one or two further recent attacks.
