Georgia considers introducing horse racing

The move is seen as one way to boost state revenue from the accompanying gambling without the need to raise state taxes.

Efforts in the past to introduce horse racing to Georgia have failed.

A racing industry is also seen by some as bringing jobs and economic development to the state.
