Vollrath Hanoverians - for world-class bloodlines and performance

Blair Richardson's protest upheld at Adelaide

November 14, 2009

from Stan Henderson in Adelaide

Blair Richardson's protest at being given 20 penalties for a technical refusal on the cross-country has been upheld, moving the combination up to fifth position going into tomorrow's showjumping at the Australian International 3 Day Event.

It is a just reward for Richardson and the New Zealand team, which put a top performance today in Adelaide.

With Clarke Johnston and Jenna Mahoney jumping clear, this leaves the three New Zealanders in the top 10 after cross-country.

The second horse inspection will be held tomorrow morning at 8.30am.
