A 15-year-old Ohio girl has died after the horse she was riding was involved in a collision with a car.
The victim was named as Chasity Marsh, of Canal Winchester. Her horse also died in the accident.
The 69-year-old driver of the car escaped injury.
The accident happened just before 6.30pm on Friday. Chasity was taken to a hospital in Bloom, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Officers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances around the crash.
