Movie mule dies in car accident

Napoleon, who was part of The Devil's Horsemen stunt team.

A 27-year-old mule who appeared in the movie, "The Duchess", starring Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes, has been killed in a car crash.

Napoleon was with three donkeys who escaped from a field in Buckinghamshire, England, on Tuesday night.

MK News reports that two of the donkeys and Napoleon were involved in a car crash about 6am.

Napoleon's injuries were fatal.

Napoleon was part of the equine crew at The Devil's Horsemen, a stunt team based at Mursley, in Buckinghamshire, which tours country fairs and horse shows performing medieval displays with its 80 horses and 200 carriages.

It also provides animals for films and television work.
