Ticket prices for 2010 World Equestrian Games announced

Prices for the 600,000 tickets to the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky have been announced by organisers.

The tickets, ranging up to $US150 for the opening ceremonies, will go on sale on September 25 - exactly a year before the 16 days of competition are scheduled to begin.

Games organisers have also released detailed competition schedules.

Dressage tickets range from $US60 to $US140. Jumping tickets range from $US60 to $US130. Tickets for reining are $US95 and $US120 for the final.

It is the first time the event, which wil decide the world championships in eight equestrian disciplines recognised by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), will have been held outside Europe.
