Owner of pooping horse to have day in court

February 26, 2009

A fight is looming over the issuing of a littering notice to the owner of a horse that emptied its bowels on a Texas street.

The website nbc13.com reports that Ben McCleary was ticketed over the deposit left in the town of Roman Forest by his two-year-old colt, Rascal.

McLeary told the affiliate television station KPRC that he was stopped and searched twice before receiving the littering citation.

He called the ticketing un-Texan.

McCleary is to appear in court on March 11, although local police say they are looking into the ticket.
