(Arabian Warmblood x WB) Bay Gelding: emh 16.2hh; dob. 21.10.03
''Ritchie' is our first cross between Kazmere Armani and a Warmblood mare and we are extremely pleased with the result. He has the same qualities that his half siblings have, with extra height and substance. His dam, Te Peka Geisha by Genius was a Show Jumper before being retired to the brood mare paddock. Her sire Genius requires no introduction - he has left many GP Show Jumpers and GP Dressage horses and is of course the sire of New Zealands only Dressage representative (Gabana) at the last Olympics.
"Ritchie' has been shown twice. At 3 months of age he took out the title of NZ National Top 5, being the only foal competing against horses aged up to 2years and he placed 1st at the South Island Championships 2 years ago.
He has recently been started under saddle by Scott O'Malley and shows eye catching paces under saddle, along with the typical 'Arnie' rocking chair canter.
We see him excelling in any Equestrian discipline, but he has the potential to be an outstanding Dressage, Eventing or Show Hunter type prospect.
