Mel and Merci
2006 NZ National Champion Derivative Mare

Arabian Warmblood Mare: dob 7.12.93: 156.5cm

Kazmere Armani's older full sister, Kazmere Cachè is one of New Zealand's leading Partbred Arabians. She has faultless conformation, phenomenal movement and a 'can do' attitude towards anything she does. To her credit she has amassed many multi Supreme titles as both an Inhand and Ridden horse and with only 3 to 4 outings at 'A' class Shows per year, her collection of over 50 major awards is truly impressive.

Some of her past wins include:

  • multi Canterbury Champion Led & Ridden
  • multi South Island Champion Led & Ridden
  • multi NZ National titles (8) Led & Ridden
  • multi Canterbury Supreme Led exhibit
  • multi South Island Supreme Led exhibit
  • South Island Champion Costume horse

Her talents however do not just lie in the showring. She is a truly gifted athlete with wins in dressage - including a 'highest score of the day' (79.3%) at a large dressage event. Her natural jumping ability saw her place 1st at her first ODE and 3rd in her next upgraded event. Since then she has upgraded again and has place 2nd and 4th at her following events.

Kazmere Cachè would not have achieved what she has without her Handler/Rider/Caregiver, Melissa Taylor - Thanks Mel for everything !

'Merci' was bred to; and produced a beautiful colt by Meteor. The colt, who we had to name 'Mel' (thank goodness it is both a male and female name) is everything we could have hoped for. Merci will be rebred back to Meteor this 07 season.
