These are some of the horses that members of the Irish Draught Horse Society of New Zealand have for sale.
Peat has huge, strong, flat bone and is straight and correct in every way.
Will mature to approx 16.1hh and will have the ability to carry weight over distance.
Beautifully marked. Good feet, great joints, strong back end.
Fantastic nature, in your face. Will be your best friend forever.
Minimal handling, taught to lead, tie and have feet handled. Has been floated and trucked, alongside his Mum.

MRF Irish Melody "Maddie" (ISH)
Maddie is a well-bred and proven Irish broodmare with superior 'mothering' skills and aptitude. She is cloverleaf branded and registered with the New Zealand Irish Draught Horse Society and has been owned by Maple Run Farm since 2004.
Maddie has been lightly ridden through the years, but was professionally schooled for 6 weeks at Abderry Farm in late 2009 for hacking out and some jumping through the summer of 2010. She is an ideal prospect as an Irish Sporthorse/Hunter broodmare, and is great for hacking around the farm, in the forest and has done beach rides.
Selling as we are moving back to the USA and would like her to go to a caring farm with an interest in the Irish breed.
