Welcome to the Auckland SPCA Horse Welfare Auxiliary Inc (formerly ILPH NZ). ILPH was established in 1990 to act as an equine lobby group and equine welfare watchdog.
In 2009 its name was changed and the organisation became an auxiliary of the Auckland SPCA.

A percentage of the revenue from all general admission tickets sold will benefit the two organisations. By supporting Equidays you will be supporting both Horse Welfare and Riding for the Disabled. We are having a stand there and have had a very generous donation of a saddle from Nigel Grice-Kerr (Saddler) which we will raffle. If anyone else has anything new (whether horse related or not) that they would like to donate for a raffle or as an item for a gift basket we would be delighted to receive your assistance.

LEGACIES - are an important source of income for HORSE WELFARE and come in the form of money left to us in supporters' Wills. You will need to see your solicitor or the Public Trust to arrange for your wishes to be formally documented in your Will. You may request a legacy pledge form from us by email. (Remember to add your postal address please). Our charity number has remained the same - 212301 - and where possible it should be quoted in your will. If you have any queries about leaving a legacy, please do not hesitate to contact us. We thank you for your consideration. Did you know that TELECOM Employees have a "payroll donations site" available to them? One of our members who is a Telecom Employee has registered Horse Welfare Auxiliary on the donations site. If you happen to know a TELECOM Employee, it would be great if you would let them know that we are registered on the site. If anyone else has a payroll donations site, we would be very grateful to be registered there. We are Charity # 212301
