Scientists to trap mosquitoes

Scientists at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station plan to study bugs that carry disease. Starting June 1, scientists will trap mosquitoes at 37 sites statewide, including a site near a Waterford school where three emus died in '97. The emus were infected with Eastern equine encephalitis, a mosquito-borne virus that also kills horses and humans.
