The ANZFHS is the only Society in Australia and New Zealand that registers purebred Friesian Horses, and is recognised by the Royal Society, Het Friesch Paarden Stamboek (KFPS), based in the Netherlands. The ANZFHS is bound by and follows the rules of the World Friesian Horse Organisation and is the representative of the KFPS in Australia and New Zealand.
