Woodlau's Koa has foaled a chestnut colt by Silver Omen. He is pictured at left at nine hours old. He has three stockings and a blaze, and will stay chestnut. He is a full brother to Kassanova.

We are saddened to report the loss of the lovely Repartee mare Bint Kareema. She died suddenly, three weeks after foaling a stillborn colt.

Dell Zar's sire Dell Hama has just won the 2008 Dubai World Challenge. Ridden by Salem Rashed bin Ghadeyer, Dell Hama won the race in 4:55:54, to win a Nissan Patrol and AED550,000 ($US150,000, $NZ190,000). Hama was also second in the best conditioned award. Read more
