2006 brown Holsteiner filly

Ramazotti (imp) x Noblewood Park Chanel (imp/exp Au)

January 2010

Rockie's 2010 colt by Silver Omen, pictured at eight days old.
Rockie produced a fabulous colt by Silver Omen on December 19, 2010. He is another moving machine.

Rockie's dam, Noblewood Park Chanel, is by the outstanding imported German stallion Collins, out of the imported Holsteiner mare Cadence from the well-known Holsteiner Stamm 776.

This line has been dubbed by some German breeders as a "magic formula", rather than a mare line.

Stamm 776 has produced sires such as Calvados I and II, Cortino I and II, Lord Incipit, Captain Incipit, Lauritz J, Rossini, Acorado, Lordanos, Ramirado Contiki, Toledo, and world-class sire Ramiro, who is present in many top showjumping horses and sires.

extended pedigree
Ramiro Z (Hol)
Ramiro's influence on Dutch Warmblood breeding was, and still is, of utmost importance. The Dutch bestowed the title 'Horse of the Year' on Ramiro in 1992. Ramiro still ranks number 16 on the 2003 World Breeding Federation jumping stallion rankings. He is arguably the most influential jumping stallion ever.

Valine (Hol) Cottage Son (TB)
Cottage Son was selected for Holstein at the age of 15 in 1959, and was already a proven sire of steeplechasers and top-level sport horses. Several of his progeny performed as eventers at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960. In only a five-year breeding period his influence in the holsteiner breed over the generations has proven to be huge and horses carrying his blood are found all over the world.

Noblewood Park Chanel
Chanel was imported to New Zealand by Hurlingham as a weanling in 2001. She had two foals in New Zealand, before being exported back to Noblewood Park in Western Australia in 2007 while in foal to Ramazotti. This filly, bred by Noblewood Park, is named Ratle 'n' Hum.

Full sister to Cougar
Cougar is a 16.3hh approved Australian Licensed Stallion. He won Supreme Champion at the Holsteiner Classifications in February 2002 at the unprecedented age of six months. He won the Bates Newcomer Award (showjumping) in 2007, and currently stands at stud at Noblewood Park.

Collins
Collins was imported to Australia as three-year-old in 1998. He is a well-balanced stallion of 16.3hh with a generous stride and natural elastic movement. In 2003 he was selected for the Australian Showjumping talent squad, becoming the youngest horse on the squad and was selected as Reserve Horse for the 2003 Australian Team Olypmic Qualification event at Aachen.

Cadence *
Cadence was purchased at the Holsteiner Verband Auction / Classification in August 1998 and was one of the highest priced mares that year. She is a Holsteiner State Premium mare, one of the most highly awarded mares in Germany and she has three full sisters who are also State Premium mares. She is breathtakingly beautiful and has proven to be a show stopper. She has both the ability and presence for either jumping or dressage and it is for this reason Cadence has been put into Noblewood Park's breeding programme rather than the showjumping team.
