Dove Endurance Saddle. This saddle carried Kirstin on Samson II to their first 160km ride together in a near record time of 9 hours. It is in good condition and comes fully mounted. Selling because Kirstin is no longer riding. She needed a heavy saddle to make up the weights and the rest of us can do with light saddles. It is comfortable and was made to fit an Arab mare.
Horses
Aspen Hills Silver Cascade (Advocate x Rosewood Marika) pretty three year old grey filly will mature around 14.2hh. She has nice movement and a good riding shaped body. $1500 + gst
Aspen Hills Ida (Bremervale Legacy x EW Taliska) very quiet 4 year old mare approx 14.1hh. Ida has taken the glam from her sire, and put it on the down to earth characteristics of her Polish mother. $3000+gst
Aspen Hills Karmaa (Advocate x Orica) Genuine 15.1hh four year old bay gelding. Karma is slow maturing boy with a kind nature but needing confidence. He is good with other horses. He has glorious bit eyes and a lovely head without being extreme, nice neck and withers and strong hindquarters. He has good feet. $3500
Aspen Hills Shades of Night (Advocate x AH Eclipse). Four year old black/bay gelding approx 14.2hh. Like his mother this boy will improve with age, but he is already a fine strong looking boy. His dam is by Shalom La Ish whose stock have excelled under saddle especially in endurance.(Windy Meadow Maria, WM Simoon eg) He has the type to follow suit. He is half brother to this year's Supreme Champion at the Christchurch Royal, a filly who won against strong competition. $2000
Aspen Hills Nageena al Sabiha (Advocate x Aspen Hills Pagan(Simeon Sapar x AH Nada bint Racca). This is Pagan's first foal - she is well grown, very assertive and has a stunning head. She is well coupled with good feet and a quite independent nature She is taught to tie up and lead. $3000
Aspen Hills Saghir (Aspen Hills Nureyev x AH Rouge Etoile). This is a wee small fellow but he ought to grow to 14.1hh. He has a laid back nature, but like his grand dam, Dell Talia, he is rather aloof at times. He has good straight movement and an excellent body completed with a fine head with a little white star. He is dark bay. He is performance bred on all sides, grand dams were endurance and CTR horses with lots of successes. Both were shown for Champion or reserve. He has one grand sire who was a Champion Western horse $562
Aspen Hills Fugitivo (Chronicle DV x M Eternity) EMH 14.3 to 15hh. Trout brown all over gelding, Fugitivo has had basic handling, drenched vaccinations up to date. His sire has influenced the direction of Coolinda Park Stud in Australia significantly and his stock are doing well in endurance, shows and other disciplines. M Eternity is a beautiful Polish mare out of the "Queen of Mulawa" Euni (Imp Poland) $2000 +gst
