US Dressage moves to Kentucky Horse Park

April 28, 2006

The United States Dressage Federation has a new home at the Kentucky Horse Park.

About 200 people attended its official opening, on April 21. It is the first time the organisation has had a permanent home in its 33-year history.

The Kentucky Horse Park is now home to 28 equine management associations and organisations.

The park gets nearly a million visitors and hosts 17,000 horses across 60 events each year. Its contribution to the Kentucky economy is put at $US160 million annually.
