Honorary doctorate for Buck Brannaman

April 12, 2006

Horse Whisperer Buck Brannaman, of Wyoming, will receive an honorary doctorate degree from Montana State University on May 6.

Brannaman was the inspiration for the famous Nicholas Evans book, The Horse Whisperer, which was also made into a movie.

Brannanman's career as a horse trainer began in southwest Montana. He gave his first training clinic in 1980, and, aside from writing several books, has worked with thousands of horses and their owners.
