Enjoyed your website. I have 17 loud colored Appaloosas with two homozygous stallions. Lot of foundation breeding and super conformation and disposition. Expecting 5 foals this year. I will have 5 generations on the ranch this year. All descending from my 34 year old stallion I've had since he was a baby.

Scott - So sorry I did not get to see you again before you returned to NZ. By the way, I am Polly Knapik's daughter (Laclede ID). I loved the calendar you sent Mom and decided that you had to have a web site and, boy, do you! I love it and now I want to come down to NZ to see the real thing! Mom says that she misses you and that it's much more fun when you are here. The sheriff decided all the neighborhood dogs were too free and easy so now we have to confine them or walk them on leashes - what a pain! And expect a letter from Mom soon - this way she has no excuse not to sit down a get a letter off! Thanks again for the great web site and all the beautiful horses! -- Deborrah

Scott,
I would like to thank you for sending my son, Garrett, a postcard from New Zealand for his class. We tried to check the postmark date to see just how long it took to reach us but is was not legible. He is so excited to share it with his classmates. It is absolutely beautiful there, I can see why it was a dream come true for you.
Thanks again,

As an owner/breeder of foundation Appaloosas for over 20 years I must say this site has eye-appeal. Great place for non-Appaloosa people to learn more on the breed's history. Keep up the promotion of Foundation bloodlines.

Hi! I have a ten year old and a fourteen year old daughter. Which breed is best for them (they are intermediate english riders)? The Polo Pony, Appaloosa, Morgan, or Tennesse Walking Horse? Please contact me if you know or think one is suitable! Also, if you know of one for sale or a website with many of them! Thanks! -Alyssa

Hi, fabulous website, with stunning appaloosas! Glad that someone is breeding for temperament, nature, size, colour and being "true" to the breed. I have a lovely part bred appy mare, who I adore. Sadly many people think appy's "stubborn" or "piggy" because of cross breeding. Keep up the good work. I am interested in breeding appaloosas myself eventually, so will be in contact. Thank you, Allie

I'm an appy owner of some 20yrs plus and while I love them dearly I also have found them to be a tad user unfriendly. My latest that I've had over 10yrs now is a difficult horse and I'm sure appy's aren't meant to be. I would love to visit your horses one day just to see the difference in temperaments and build etc.
Hope you and your family still love being here in N.Z.

Your website is fantastic! I was just surfing the web for close relatives of my mare (she's Pratt-bred), and stumbled accross your site. It's awesome to see photos of related horses, complete with pedigrees, from the other side of the planet. Thank you so much!

P.S.: Your EagleHeart captured *my* heart.

The first time I saw your advert in the horsetrader, I was excited and in awe of such magnificent looking appaloosa's. I thought how lucky you were to be able to look out your window & see such beauties, all so individual. Aswell as the connection to the Nez Perce Indian bloodlines. Congratulations on your site & your choice of awesome horses!!!

Hi Scott, Great to see you up and running on the best hoste site in NZ.
Your horses look to have heaps of substance, and from what you say they also like being around us humans too.
The Appaloosas I have had in the past were not that user friendly, I guess they had too much hybrid vigour.

Good Luck.
